It focuses on large regulated enterprises, primarily top-tier banks and financial institutions.X5 Labs is a Series A company ($23M raised), founded by repeat entrepreneurs with deep roots in Israeli intelligence and AI research, on their second venture together.The RoleX5 Labs is hiring an AI Engineer (5-10+ years) to own the technical build-out of a custom AI/LLM platform for one of the top five banks in the US. You will join a tight-knit, execution-focused team that ships real AI in production, working closely with the core engineering team and a marquee enterprise customer. About 20% of the role is customer-facing.What You Will Do Fork and customize the core AI/LLM platform for a top-five bank's environment, owning the build from architecture to deployment. Work daily with the Israel-based engineering team to merge customer-specific work into the main product. Own production deployments, integrations and reliability in a regulated enterprise environment. Serve as the go-to technical contact for the bank's engineering stakeholders. Troubleshoot complex production issues end to end with high independence.
