Job Summary The PIM Platform Engineering Manager leads engineering strategy and delivery for the PIM platform, owning technical direction, architecture review, and quality/reliability for the team's Akeneo and Informatica P360 migration work. This is a hands-on leadership role: you set technical direction, unblock delivery, and are the final technical decision-maker for the platform. What You Will Do Lead technical direction and platform engineering strategy for Akeneo, including architecture review and technical decision-making Own delivery execution and backlog shaping across the PIM engineering team (tech leads, engineers, BA, TPO, sys admin) Guide the Informatica P360-to-Akeneo migration and transition, including migration planning and integration strategy Review solution designs and ensure workflows, enrichment rules, and Akeneo extensions are built on reusable, standardized patterns Validate technical readiness for releases and migration cutovers; own quality and reliability for the platform Provide vendor/SOW oversight (Capgemini) for P360 maintenance during the Akeneo transition Review backlog quality and ensure the team consistently ships working platform capabilities Solve hands-on technical problems and unblock integration/migration issues directly when needed What You Will Have: Products and Services: Knowledge of major products and services and product and service groups; ability to apply knowledge of product and service appropriately to diverse situations. Organizational Leadership: Knowledge of leadership concepts and ability to use strategies and skills to enlist others in setting, embracing and achieving objectives. Software Development: Knowledge of software development tools and activities; ability to produce software products or systems in line with product requirements. Software Development Life Cycle: Knowledge of software development life cycle; ability to use a structured methodology for delivering and managing new or enhanced software products to the marketplace. Software Product Design/Architecture: Knowledge of software product design; ability to convert market requirements into the software product design. Software Quality Assurance and Testing: Knowledge of software quality assurance and testing; ability to apply appropriate processes, tools, and techniques for assuring a high level of quality in computer software products and systems. Considerations For Top Candidates: Proven engineering leadership experience managing platform, PIM, or MDM engineering teams Hands-on technical background in Akeneo Strong architecture and solution-design review experience, including API and integration design Experience leading platform migrations (system-to-system data and workflow migration) Comfortable owning delivery execution: backlog management, sprint planning, release readiness Vendor/SOW management experience Strong communicator who can align architecture, business, and delivery teams Additional Details: This position requires the candidate to be in Chicago, IL, Peoria, IL, Broomfield, CO or Irving, TX Relocation assistance is NOT available for this position Visa sponsorship is NOT available with this position. Summary Pay Range: $147,760.00 - $240,110.00 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
