Experienced Product Acceptance Specialist - C-17 Company: Boeing Aerospace Operations Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for an Experienced Product Acceptance Specialist to join our C-17 team in San Antonio, TX. The selected candidate will be responsible for performing product acceptance, inspection, surveillance and verification activities supporting aircraft ground and flight operations. This role will partner with Manufacturing, Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, Operations Control Center, flight crews and customer or government representatives to verify product and process conformance, resolve discrepancies, and support safe-for-flight and flight-readiness activities. Position Responsibilities: Verify product conformance to design requirements Provide objective evidence of results Validate work instructions, tooling requirements, certifications, process standards, policies and procedures Identify and documents discrepancies and segregates and controls non-conforming items Perform preliminary review and disposition of non-conformance Conduct product review with customer during product or process verification Identifies repetitive or significant non-conformances and initiates requests for corrective action Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 3+ years of experience in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Quality or experience in a regulated industry 3+ years of experience using strong analytical and problem-solving skills 3+ years of experience working with suppliers to address non-conforming parts tagging and control processes and resolution 3+ years of experience using Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Associate’s degree or higher 1+ years of experience identifying root cause analysis and corrective actions 1+ years of experience supporting military aircraft maintenance, modification, repair, overhaul, or flight operations 1+ years of experience supporting C-17 aircraft, aircraft ground operations, flight-line operations, or aircraft acceptance activities Experience supporting aircraft safe-for-flight, flight-readiness, functional check flight, aircraft records, or post-maintenance inspection activities Experience working with DCMA, Government Flight Representatives, Government Ground Representatives, customer representatives, or military service personnel Knowledge of BPI-4577, Perform Product Acceptance – Hardware, BPI-4946, Production Process and/or Product Surveillance, BPI-4517, Control of Nonconforming Product FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License Conflict of Interest: Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process Drug Free Workplace: Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.
