The Senior Manager of Commercial Marketing is a key downstream marketing leader responsible for commercialization, market adoption, customer engagement, and portfolio growth across Baxter's Connected Care portfolio. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this role translates product strategy into market success through compelling positioning, sales enablement, customer engagement programs, launch excellence, and data-driven commercial insights. This leader partners closely with Product Management, Product Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, Regional Marketing, MarCom, R&D, and Service teams to develop differentiated value propositions, drive customer adoption, optimize commercial performance, and accelerate portfolio growth. The role requires an individual who can simplify complex healthcare technology concepts, influence across a highly matrixed organization, and leverage analytics to inform business decisions. Key stakeholders in the Connected Care Group include Product Management, Product (upstream) Marketing, Marketing Communications (MarCom), Sales, R&D, Project Management, and Operations. Across the broader organization, she/he will also interact with other marketing, product management, medical affairs, sales, regional, legal, and quality teams. To be successful, this marketer will balance quick results with a longer-term approach to the strategy and portfolio. This role requires adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced and evolving environment. Success requires a highly collaborative, visible individual who can effectively influence within and across organizations while navigating changing business priorities. We are seeking a collaborative, high-energy, and agile individual who has an in-depth knowledge of the healthcare and technology ecosystem. Success in this role will be measured by product adoption, customer engagement, commercial readiness, pipeline influence, launch execution, and contribution to portfolio growth. Deerfield, IL Bellevue, WA What you'll be doing: Driving portfolio growth and commercial performance by monitoring adoption, utilization, pipeline, revenue, retention, and marketing KPIs, translating insights into actions that improve business results. Developing and executing commercialization, go-to-market, and product launch strategies that align product vision with market opportunities, customer needs, and business objectives. Partnering cross-functionally with Product Management, Product Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, Marketing Communications, and regional teams to deliver successful commercialization initiatives. Creating differentiated positioning, messaging, value propositions, and customer engagement strategies that resonate with clinical, operational, financial, and IT decision-makers. Leading sales enablement and launch excellence through pre-launch, launch, and post-launch programs, ensuring the field has the tools, content, processes, and support needed for commercial success. Developing and optimizing customer adoption, lifecycle marketing, demand generation, and omnichannel campaigns that increase awareness, utilization, expansion, retention, and profitability. Leveraging customer insights, market intelligence, competitive analysis, and voice-of-customer feedback to strengthen commercial strategy, improve customer experience, and influence future product enhancements. Building scalable marketing capabilities and best practices while coaching teams, fostering collaboration, managing external partners, and driving operational excellence across the portfolio. What you'll bring: Requires a bachelor’s degree. MBA and/or graduate degree is a plus. 8+ years of progressive experience in commercial marketing, product marketing, downstream marketing, or related healthcare technology marketing roles. Experience marketing complex, software-enabled or platform-based healthcare solutions, with a demonstrated ability to drive enterprise adoption. Strong understanding of digital health ecosystems, including interoperability, clinical workflows, and enterprise IT environments. Demonstrated success commercializing healthcare technology, SaaS, connected device, digital health, or healthcare IT solutions. Proven ability to drive global product launches and commercialization initiatives across complex matrix organizations. Strong strategic thinking and business acumen, including experience analyzing commercial performance and translating insights into growth strategies. Ability to work and influence across business units and functions. Demonstrated track-record of leading and influencing in a matrixed environment. Excellent written & verbal communication and presentation skills Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, including international. The estimated base salary for this position is $144,00.00 to $198,000.00 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors.
