Position Summary The Transformation Manager – Integrated Program Office will serve as a strategic leader responsible for driving company-wide change initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, enable innovation, and support long-term business objectives. This role will oversee the transformation portfolio, optimize program management processes and tools, and deliver executive-level reporting to inform decision-making and governance. Key Responsibilities · Strategic Program Leadership: Lead the execution of complex, cross-functional transformation programs, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy, business priorities, and value realization targets. · Portfolio Governance & Optimization: Establish and refine portfolio management processes to improve initiative prioritization, resource allocation, and performance tracking across the transformation landscape. · Program Management: Provide guidance, leadership and transformation support for execution and shorten time to value through waterfall and agile methodologies. · Tool Strategy & Enablement: Evaluate, implement, and optimize program and portfolio management and execution tools to support scalable execution, data integrity, and user adoption across business units. · Executive Reporting & Insights: Develop and maintain high-impact dashboards and reporting frameworks that provide visibility into program health, portfolio performance, and strategic alignment; deliver insights to senior leadership and governance boards. · Stakeholder Engagement & Alignment: Partner with executive sponsors, functional leaders, and transformation teams to define program objectives, manage interdependencies, and ensure stakeholder alignment throughout the lifecycle. · Change Enablement: Lead change management efforts including communications, training, and engagement strategies to drive adoption of new processes, technologies, and operating models. · Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify risks and issues across the portfolio; develop mitigation strategies and escalate critical items to leadership as needed. · Continuous Improvement & Innovation: Champion a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline processes, enhance capabilities, and accelerate transformation outcomes. · Organizational Support: Provide financial management for the Office of the CIO and manage licensing and vendors for Portfolio and Program Management tools and resources. · Successful people leader: Demonstrated ability to build, maintain and recruit high performing teams through trust, inclusion, and psychological safety. Coach and develops talent, communicate with empathy, and balances employee well-being with accountability and results. Qualifications · Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA · Demonstrated experience with bi-modal delivery required. · Minimum 12 years of experience in program or portfolio management, with a focus on enterprise transformation · Demonstrated success in leading strategic initiatives in a matrixed, fast-paced environment · Demonstrated expertise in large portfolio governance, reporting, and tool optimization (e.g., Smartsheet, Jira, Looker) · Demonstrated proficiency in establishing processes and lightweight governance for business agility · Successful Enterprise Level delivery and execution across diverse methodology is required. · Transformation experience of practices across Portfolio, Program and Finance required · Exceptional communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills · Familiarity with Agile, Lean, and waterfall methodologies is required. · PMP certification and SAFe RTE 5.0 or higher and SPC 5.0 or higher Certification Required About McKesson Medical-Surgical McKesson Medical-Surgical (MMS), which is expected to become Wellverse in early 2027, is a subsidiary and publicly reported segment of the McKesson Corporation. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
