The Utilities Technician is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining utility and facility equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. How You Will Make an Impact Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on utility and facility equipment. Ensure high equipment availability while supporting energy efficiency initiatives. Troubleshoot equipment issues and minimize downtime through timely repairs. Identify and implement equipment improvements to enhance reliability, quality, and operational performance. Support facility, utility, and capital improvement projects as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Accurately document maintenance activities in SAP PM, including work order confirmations, spare parts usage, and equipment history. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business and operational objectives. Demonstrate ownership of personal and workplace safety by following safety procedures and reporting unsafe conditions or behaviors. Ensure accurate time and attendance reporting. WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE Associates degree in Engineering, Electrical Technology, Electro-Mechanical Technology, Mechatronics Technology, or a related technical field; OR Minimum of 5 years of relevant maintenance experience in lieu of a degree. Maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment. ADDITIONAL WAYS TO STAND OUT 5+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing or industrial operations. Experience maintaining utility systems, facility equipment, and power distribution systems. Working knowledge of Siemens and/or Johnson Controls PLC systems. Experience with Metasys building automation software. Knowledge of structured problem-solving methodologies. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Experience using SAP Plant Maintenance (SAP PM).
