The Procurement Expert manages procurement across EMEA, with support for AMER and APAC, ensuring vendor performance, compliance, and cost efficiency. Acts as the key interface between internal stakeholders and external vendors, and is part of the Global EMS Logistics team. Responsibilities Manage purchase requisitions and purchase orders through relevant procurement systems Build and maintain relationships with key technology vendors Negotiate commercial terms within approval authority limits; monitor contract renewals Track procurement spend and identify cost-saving opportunities Act as primary point of contact for internal teams on procurement requests/escalations Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Implementation, Architecture, Product, and Warehouse Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience) Proven experience in IT equipment/software license procurement required — not an entry-level role Experience managing purchase orders, vendor relationships, and operational spend Skills Strong negotiation and stakeholder management Analytical mindset for spend data Organized, detail-oriented, effective communicator in a matrix organization Language: Fluent English required; Spanish a plus Working Conditions Office-based role with frequent interaction with internal teams and external vendors Hybrid, 2 days/week in office; standard business hours May require occasional support outside standard business hours for critical issues or renewals Equinix is committed to ensuring that our employment process is open to all individuals, including those with a disability.
