The Area Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth across the assigned territory by acquiring new customers, developing long-term partnerships and identifying business opportunities for Masimo solutions. The role leads commercial discussions with key decision-makers, works closely with Clinical Specialists on customer projects and represents Masimo at trade fairs and congresses. This position reports to the Regional Manager, is part of the Sales Team located in Germany and will work remotely to cover Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Northern Brandenburg and Berlin. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Acquire new customers and identify business opportunities across the assigned territory. Build and develop long-term, trust-based partnerships with customers and key stakeholders. Achieve sales targets through strategic territory planning and business development activities. Lead commercial discussions and negotiations with key decision-makers. Maintain accurate customer, opportunity and activity data in the CRM system. Represent Masimo and present its solutions at national and international trade fairs and congresses. Manage customer projects in close collaboration with Clinical Specialists and other internal teams. The essential requirements of the job include: Multiple years of sales experience in the medical device or medical consumables sector. Strong medical understanding and knowledge of hospital workflows and decision-making processes. Proven ability to build customer relationships, identify business opportunities and develop effective solutions. Fluent German and good command of English. A clinical or medical background is an advantage; experience with Salesforce is a plus. Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: Ability to travel approximately 60% of the time, with overnight stays, within the assigned territory.
