The Role The Machine Tooling Stamping (MTS) Program Manager plays a critical role in supporting tooling and manufacturing initiatives from concept through launch and continuous improvement. This position is responsible for managing Statements of Requirements (SORs), leading project activities for tooling and manufacturing technologies, and ensuring successful integration of equipment, processes, and systems that enable the production of high-quality stamped components. Working across engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and plant operations, the role drives manufacturing process definition, sequence of operations, material flow, and human factors considerations while maintaining program timing and deliverables. The individual provides technical leadership to the MTS engineering team, oversees vendor activities, conducts tool run-off and buyoff processes, and helps develop and implement advanced manufacturing technologies that improve operational performance, quality, and efficiency. What You'll Do (Responsibilities): · This role will work within MTS (machine tooling stamping) and will require comprehensive knowledge of program management. · The position demands cross-functional collaboration across headquarters, common plants, and our manufacturing operations. · Conducting part run-off and buyoff processes for customers. · Providing technical direction to the MTS engineering group. · Communicating effectively and working collaboratively with all stakeholders. · Develop, maintain, and communicate an integrated program schedule, ensuring alignment of engineering, manufacturing, procurement, validation and delivery milestones. · Maintaining working contacts with vendors, other internal engineering disciplines and management at plants and headquarters. Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications): · 5+ years of experience managing projects. · Ability to understand and assess complex Engineering issues. · Proficient in Google Workspace, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, MS Office suite. · Ability to multi-task, supporting several projects with various priority levels. · Strong organization skills – managing Information from multiple locations and sources. What Can Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications): · Examples of successful tool & die projects. · Working knowledge of CNC machines, water-jet, laser and brake press equipment. · Working knowledge of stamping dies and stamping process.
