Job Description: Job Title: Project Manager Major Duties/ Responsibilities Leads projects of medium to high complexity through the project management lifecycle, including defining project scope, objectives, milestones and deliverables in partnership with the identified Business Lead Develops and implements comprehensive project plans, including setting milestones, identifying required resources, establishing interdependencies & cross functional timelines, to ensure project delivery Accountable for identifying project roadblocks and issues and partnering with Business Leaders and subject matter experts to develop solutions and mitigate risks, escalating to Business Lead and Executive Steering Committee when required, to ensure project objectives are delivered on time, on budget with minimal disruption to the business Guides project teams and partners through multiple, concurrent tasks and accurately assess priorities of assigned activities and ensures integration of all related dependencies. Manage resources responsible for project delivery and documentation Lead sessions to define detailed business and functional requirements, use cases, and acceptance criteria through design and testing, ensuring all requirements are aligned to the approved project scope and business case Responsible for timely and effective project communications such as, organizing and leading regular cross-functional progress meetings with project teams and other relevant stakeholders from across all functions; preparing and presenting regular progress updates to Executive Steering Committees and other groups as determined in the governance model Serve as liaison with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure effective communication across all areas Monitors and reports on project status, identifying any potential risks or issues and escalating them to Project Leadership as required Ensure deliverables meet business needs and operational requirements In partnership with the business and IT teams, ensures project’s adherence to quality standards and solution integrity Evaluate and communicate impact of changes on scope and timelines and support resolution of cross-functional dependencies Lead lessons learned and continuous improvement efforts Establish and promote internal best practices and stay updated with the latest project management tools, methodologies, and best practices Ensure project delivery methodologies, standards, and controls are consistently applied throughout the project lifecycle. Decision Making Evaluates, manages and assigns team workload based on GBS needs and priorities. Implement required tools and processes for project planning, execution and monitoring requirements and best practices to ensure project visibility and adherence to schedule and requirements. Evaluate and escalate risks, issues and decisions required for project delivery to leadership provide recommendations for resolution Evaluates, manages and assigns team workload based on GBS needs and priorities. Recommends operational and process improvements within the department. Span of Control (Direct/Indirect reports) Potential direct reports, Senior Project Specialists Manages project management functional team for GBS, team workload and supports team growth and talent development. Scope of Responsibility Responsible for leadership and management of Project Management specialist teams and directly assigned projects within the GBS portfolio. Skills/Knowledge Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple priorities and working in a fast-paced environment and delivering high-quality products under tight timelines. Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with ability to influence business partners, to help prioritize activities and resources to meet the organization needs, build rapport and credibility to be a trusted advisor. Demonstrated capacity ability to act as a collaborative partner with leadership and project teams to positively influence outcomes. Strong business writing skills with ability to write clearly and concisely, ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries, ability to write standard operating procedures and other business documents. Ability to leverage prior experience and adapt quickly to the changing work environment to make effective decisions, revise business strategies to support the vision of the organization. Excellent cross-functional collaboration and change management skills Advanced project management tool application and best practices: Ability to deploy and adapt at varying levels of detail to align to the situational requirements Clear, active listening, and the ability to inspire and motivate. Ability to address challenges with a people-first approach, comfortable with ambiguity and bringing organization to ambiguous situations. Respect for diversity and inclusion in all interactions. Demonstrated organizational skills including prioritization, time management, and adaptability. Minimum Formal Education Bachelor’s degree in business management is advantageous, but not required, relevant experience is essential. Minimum Experience 7+ years of experience working in large-scale enterprise environments on enterprise or cross-functional, transformational projects Strong experience in: Project planning, documentation and reporting Stakeholder engagement and facilitation Project management phases: Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring & Controlling, and Close Out Strong project management skills, including scope control, risk management, and quality outcomes Experience managing a team, including managing workloads and talent development, preferred but not required PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification, preferred but not required Job Timings 4:30 PM to 01:30 AM IST (during EDT) 5:30 PM to 02:30 AM IST (during EST) In addition to our open door policy and supportive work environment, we also strive to provide a competitive salary and benefits package.
