You will also interact with engineers in multiple disciplines outside of electrical engineering Apply general knowledge of electronic/electrical systems or subsystems and components including operating principles, design variables, performance, and key interfaces Position Responsibilities: Leads work with customers to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements Leads and coordinates work to analyze and translate requirements into system architecture, hardware and software designs and interface specifications Leads work to test and validate to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements Oversees the team that monitors supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements Solves problems concerning and provides other support of fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle Researches technology advances for potential application to company business needs Makes recommendations for technology investments This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. A final Secret Clearance Post-Start is required. ​This position requires ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry Level 4 (Senior): 9+ years of work-related experience with a bachelor’s or 7+ years of work-related experience with Masters or 4+ years with a PhD Ability to travel up to 10 percent Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Active Secret Clearance or higher (Active within last two years) Conflict of Interest: Successful candidates for this job must satisfy Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process. Education: Level 4 (Senior): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. Relocation: This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
