Position Summary Starting Pay: Based on experience Scheduled - Monday-Friday Hours - 3pm-11pm Maintenance Mechanic Position Overview The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving facility equipment in a fast-paced distribution environment. This role supports the reliability of conveyor systems, material handling equipment, and automated technologies while helping minimize downtime and maximize operational performance. The position also offers extensive cross-training opportunities on advanced automation systems, including AutoStore, Tompkins Robotics, and TGW technologies. What You'll Do Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on conveyors, motors, sensors, and material handling equipment. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic system issues. Respond to equipment breakdowns and execute timely repairs to minimize operational disruptions. Conduct routine inspections to identify equipment wear, defects, and improvement opportunities. Complete maintenance work orders and maintain accurate service records. Support spare parts inventory and equipment reliability initiatives. Ensure compliance with all safety policies and regulatory requirements. Assist with the installation, testing, and optimization of new equipment and automation systems. Participate in extensive cross-training on AutoStore, Tompkins Robotics, and TGW automation technologies. Mentor and support less experienced maintenance team members as needed. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required. Experience maintaining and troubleshooting industrial equipment or conveyor systems. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer skills for maintenance documentation and work order management. Anticipated Weekly Hours 40 Time Type Full time Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $18.50 - $38.82 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
