The US Breast Cancer Business is one of the largest businesses within Pfizer Oncology. It is anchored by a multibillion-dollar asset IBRANCE, as well as TUKYSA in metastatic breast cancer, and a robust pipeline of breast cancer innovation. TUKYSA is entering one of the most consequential windows in the brand's history with the anticipated launch of the HER2CLIMB-05 first-line maintenance (1Lm) indication in human epidermal growth factor receptor 2-positive (HER2+) metastatic breast cancer (mBC, PDUFA Oct 17, 2026). HER2CLIMB-05 marks a new era for the Pfizer Breast Cancer Franchise, with TUKYSA poised as the franchise growth driver. TUKYSA is also indicated for HER2+ metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC). Over the next years, several pivotal trial readouts are anticipated across both mBC and mCRC for TUKYSA. The Strategy & Performance Lead is a critical strategic and operational role. Operating as an individual contributor in a highly matrixed environment, the role drives US commercial strategic planning, business operations, and demand-based performance management.The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who turns complex, ambiguous data into clear commercial direction — pairing analytical rigor and data-driven decision-making with the communication skills and influence to move senior cross-functional stakeholders toward it. US launch exposure is strongly valued. The Director, US TUKYSA Strategy & Performance Lead will report to the Sr. Director, US TUKYSA Commercial & Marketing Team Lead and be part of a mission-driven, innovative, and talented team of diverse colleagues. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: Strategic Planning Own the strategic agenda for TUKYSA: proactively surfacing issues that need a decision early, framing the options and implications, and drive recommendations to resolution with the relevant business and functional leaders Define the 3-year US commercial strategy across both metastatic breast cancer and metastatic colorectal cancer Develop the competitive strategy and positioning for TUKYSA in the evolving HER2+ mBC treatment landscape Build and advocate the case for select and targeted TUKYSA's prioritization within enterprise customer-facing resources, partnering with Account Marketing and Account Management leadership Lead strategic assessment of mCRC opportunities and build business cases for resourcing and investment, as appropriate Represent US Commercial in commercial development, clinical development and regulatory plans, partnering with Global Marketing and Research & Development Business Operations Own the integrated US launch plan for the HER2CLIMB-05 first-line indication, including judging from early performance and field feedback when a pivot is warranted and mobilizing the cross-functional team behind it Lead the extended cross-functional US Commercial launch team and own the forums where commercial strategy and priorities are shared and refined, and where opportunities and barriers are elevated for cross-functional partnership Champion AI-enabled ways of working across the TUKYSA business Manage OpEx to target while continuously evaluating and recommending opportunities to reallocate spend across channels/functions to maximize performance Performance Management Deliver TUKYSA US demand performance against operating plan: diagnose variance, identify commercial drivers, and initiate corrective actions as appropriate. Present performance and corrective recommendations to Senior and Executive Management. Establish and own the brand's performance management system with Oncology Commercial Analytics: performance objectives, KPIs and leading indicators, business review cadence, and executive reporting Define the TUKYSA HCP targeting strategy, including pinpoint alerts, and partner with Data Science and Portfolio Acceleration to implement and refine as needed Drive the annual planning cycle for TUKYSA across strategy, operating plan, and resource allocation, working with cross-functional partners including Finance, Sales, Market Access, and Medical to land on a single set of priorities Partner with Account Marketing and US Market Access to define and advance objectives with key accounts and payers, including mitigating payer- or account-driven effects on realized demand Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements) Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years of experience; MBA/MS with 7+ years of experience; PhD/PharmD with 5+ years of experience in progressive pharmaceutical/biotech commercial roles Demonstrated development and leadership of a cross-functional commercial strategy Experience partnering with Sales, Medical Affairs, and Commercial Analytics to drive strategy development and performance management Direct experience leading or co-leading a major product launch, including accountability for launch readiness across multiple functions Advanced analytical fluency with the judgment to distinguish meaningful signal from noise, and develop evidence-based recommendations Executive presence sufficient to present, defend, and adjust a position in front of senior leadership Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact. Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements) Oncology experience with at least 3 years supporting a marketed brand or commercial organization Knowledgeable or experienced in US breast cancer market Experience partnering with Finance, Market Access and/or Account Management Experience leading commercial performance management and business operations across functions Experience shaping brand strategy and delivering performance in an evolving competitive landscape or a shift from an entrenched standard of care Experienced with promotional review process in regulated US commercial environment Demonstrates Pfizer's values in action: Courage, Excellence, Equity and Joy NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS Domestic travel of up to 20%. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
