Business Analyst - Fixed Income Workflow Lead, VP - State Street Investment Management

Role Overview Lead the design, governance, and continuous improvement of Fixed Income Index portfolio management workflows across front-office investment management platforms and related applications. Partner closely with Portfolio Managers, Product Owners, and technology teams to understand evolving investment needs, optimize portfolio management workflows, and translate business priorities into scalable technology solutions. Success in this role requires deep Fixed Income Index expertise, strong knowledge of portfolio management processes, and the ability to drive alignment across business and technology stakeholders globally. Key Responsibilities Workflow Leadership & Optimization Lead the design and evolution of portfolio management workflows supporting instrument onboarding, data management, identity and access management, and related business processes. Drive workflow design across front-office investment management platforms and internally developed applications. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, data quality, scalability, operational resiliency, and control effectiveness. Promote standardization and consistency across workflow domains. Business Partnership & Demand Engagement Partner with investment teams to understand business priorities, challenges, and emerging requirements. Facilitate structured engagement forums to capture, refine, and track demand. Collaborate with Product Owners and Engineering Leads to shape solution approaches and delivery plans. Provide transparency into priorities, dependencies, risks, and progress. Platform Expertise & Governance Serve as a subject matter expert on portfolio management workflows and supporting technology platforms. Provide guidance on workflow design, capabilities, limitations, and implementation considerations. Partner with business, technology, and control functions to ensure appropriate governance over onboarding, entitlements, and access management processes. Support governance, controls, audit readiness, and cross-functional coordination across workflow domains. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience. Significant Asset Management experience with deep Fixed Income Index business expertise and a strong understanding of front-office investment workflows and supporting technology platforms. Strong understanding of portfolio management workflows, investment processes, and front-office operating models. Experience leveraging investment management platforms to support portfolio management, trading, analytics, and investment workflows. Proven ability to translate business needs into workflow and technology solutions. Strong stakeholder management skills across investment, operations, and technology teams. Preferred Experience supporting global portfolio management organizations. Experience working with front-office investment management platforms such as CRIMS, Charles River IMS, Aladdin, SimCorp, ThinkFolio, proprietary solutions, or similar technologies. Ability to anticipate business needs and proactively shape workflow solutions. Ability to influence and drive alignment without direct authority. Salary Range: $110,000 - $188,750 Annual The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
