As a Senior HR/People Operations Specialist (m/f/d) at Flix, you will make an impact by delivering comprehensive HR operations support to our employees in Portugal and the UK. Reporting to the Team Lead People Western Europe and as part of a lean, fast-paced, and international team, you will ensure operational excellence, optimize processes, and support our people as we scale and shape the future of mobility. The role is based in Lisbon (hybrid model). About the Role Act as the first point of contact for employees, People Partners, authorities, and external providers on topics such as contracts, benefits, and employee lifecycle administration. Support the end-to-end payroll process by collaborating with our external payroll provider and assisting employees with payroll-related queries. Manage the employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding, including contract administration, documentation, references, and process improvements. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee data in Workday and personnel records, ensuring data quality and compliance. Ensure compliance with Portuguese employment law and internal policies, minimizing risk and partnering with Legal when required. Drive the optimization and automation of People Operations processes, including employee data changes, documentation management, and reporting. Collaborate closely with HRBP, Payroll, Legal, Recruitment, and global People Operations teams to ensure consistent processes and deliver local implementation of global initiatives About You 5+ years of experience in HR Administration, People Operations, or HR Shared Services roles, ideally within an international and fast-growing environment Degree in Human Resources, Economics, Psychology, Social Sciences, Pedagogics, or a related field Solid knowledge of Portuguese labour law; knowledge of UK labour law is a plus Hands-on experience with HRIS/HRMS systems; Workday experience is highly desirable Strong understanding of payroll processes, including payroll preparation, validation, and coordination with external payroll providers A proactive, hands-on mindset with a strong sense of ownership, attention to detail, and a drive to continuously improve processes Strong communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of the organization in a collaborative, international environment Fluent in Portuguese and English, both written and spoken We recognize that everyone carries a unique set of valuable skills and experiences.
