About the Role: As a Senior Manager in Business Analysis within our UK Card division, you will bring strategic and quantitative insight to address high-impact enterprise challenges. In this cross-functional leadership role, you will guide teams to design, test, and deliver strategies that support our customers and their financial wellbeing. What you’ll do: Strategic Leadership: Shape business strategies that deliver sustainable growth, profitability, and customer value in a changing market and regulatory landscape. Business Accountability: Maintain end-to-end management for key business segments, directly impacting the business's P+L. People Leadership: Lead, coach, and support diverse teams while mentoring talent across the wider organisation. Product & Pricing Strategy: Guide product-level modelling and analytics, design customer-centric lending products, and implement effective pricing strategies. Marketing & Insights: Inform direct-to-consumer marketing strategies, leveraging customer insights to launch go-to-market plans and tech concepts. Credit Risk Management: Enhance credit performance by connecting future credit trends to historical data, refining risk models, and validating hypotheses. Execution & Delivery: Oversee concurrent projects, define clear requirements, and sequence delivery against overarching product strategy. Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner closely with Product, Tech, Operations, Finance, and Sales to enhance quality, service, and commercial outcomes. The skills and experience you need: Leadership & Initiative: Proven track record of guiding project teams, mentoring junior colleagues, or leading cross-functional workstreams (formal line management experience is welcomed, but not required). Commercial & Risk Acumen: Experience shaping strategic growth, pricing, or credit risk strategies with clear commercial or P&L impact. Stakeholder Management: Demonstrated ability to build consensus with senior leaders and guide complex, high-visibility initiatives across cross-functional teams. Analytical Problem-Solving: Proven ability to pair conceptual thinking with quantitative rigour to solve complex business problems. Nice to Have: Sector Expertise: Background in UK retail banking, consumer lending, credit, or management consulting with a focus on financial services or consumer lending. Domain Knowledge: Experience in credit risk modelling, regulatory frameworks, or direct-to-consumer marketing. Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with analytics tools and cloud environments (e.g., SQL, Python). Where and How You'll Work: This permanent position offers hybrid flexibility based in either our London or Nottingham office. We embrace a hybrid approach to work. You'll spend three days a week in the office (Tuesday-Thursday), with Monday and Friday being dedicated work-from-home days. Our offices are designed to inspire and support you.
