DESCRIPTION: As a Sr Account Manager in the Clinical Trials Division at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will drive revenue growth by identifying, developing, and managing business opportunities with Biotech customers across our diverse portfolio of Clinical Trial Supply products and solutions. You will build strong relationships with new and existing customers, understand their clinical development programs and supply chain requirements, and develop tailored solutions that support the successful execution of their clinical trials. You will serve as a trusted advisor to Biotech customers, using your understanding of clinical development, clinical trial supply, and consultative selling to identify customer needs and build solutions that address complex trial requirements. You will collaborate with technical specialists, operational teams, product managers, and other internal partners to develop and deliver comprehensive clinical trial supply solutions that enable customers to advance their drug development programs and ultimately make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. REQUIREMENTS: • Bachelor's Degree plus 8 years of B2B sales or business development experience in life sciences, biotech, pharmaceutical, clinical trials, or related industries • Preferred Fields of Study: Life Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering, Business, or related field • Additional business or commercial certifications valued • Technical aptitude and ability to understand clinical development programs, clinical trial supply requirements, and complex customer workflows • Demonstrated success in consistently meeting/exceeding sales targets, developing new business, and growing strategic Biotech accounts • Excellence in consultative and solution selling, relationship building, and negotiations at all levels • Ability to identify customer needs and coordinate internal expertise to develop tailored clinical trial supply solutions • Experience with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) and MS Office suite • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across commercial, technical, and operational teams • Strong analytical, planning, and organizational abilities • Effective presentation and communication skills at all organizational levels, including senior customer stakeholders • Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 30–40% as needed • Fluency in English required; additional language skills valued for international roles • Demonstrates commitment to Integrity, Intensity, Innovation and Involvement • Experience in clinical trial supplies, clinical development services, pharmaceutical services, and/or regulated environments preferred • Ability to manage complex, solution-based sales cycles and multiple business development opportunities simultaneously
