Our employees make all the difference in our success!Role: The Medical Staff Scheduler is responsible for the coordination and oversight of patient scheduling for medical service providers to include APRNs and physicians.•Schedules visits especially F2F compliance visits following strict Medicare/Medicaid guidelines.•Works closely with affiliate medical directors to ensure productivity is met by medical staff.•Contact patients and families to schedule medical staff visits.Qualifications:College degree or equivalent work experienceMinimum of (3) years of related work experience in the healthcare field including prior experience in a contact call center environment and/or medical staff scheduling and/or clinical patient care experiencePrevious experience utilizing an electronic medical record as well as scheduling softwareStrong Excel skills including the ability to input/format/filter/sort data, create and manage worksheets/formulas and analyze dataProficiency in TeamsPrevious hospice experience including the ability to voice compassion towards patients and familiesStrong medical terminology skills preferably related to hospiceAble to perform sedentary work with frequent interruptions Demonstrated excellent time management skills with ability to prioritize tasks and meet scheduling deadlinesAbility to effectively handle stressful situations professionally and calmlyAbility to demonstrate patient scheduling skills and communication effectively Information seeking / probing skillsAccurate knowledge transfer Listening, understanding and respondingAble to multi-task (think, talk, type) in a fast-paced environment, utilizing interpersonal skills to maximize caller reassuranceAbility to work in a cooperative team environmentExhibit a sense of urgency in daily work activitiesAble to work under moderate supervision, exercising some degree of discretion and independent judgmentSkilled in computer operations; proficiency in Microsoft Office software applications, and proven data entry and navigation skills Competencies:Satisfactorily complete competency requirements for this position.
