Pay Transparency The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is kr1,610,000 - kr2,645,000 which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Job Description As a senior VAS leader, the Senior Director, Head of VAS Nordics & Baltics (N&B) is accountable for the strategy, growth, commercial performance, and delivery of Visa's Value-Added Services business across the Nordics & Baltics cluster. The role will lead the refresh and execution of the VAS Strategy 2030 agenda within the N&B cluster, accelerating platform-led growth and driving delivery against key VAS strategic priorities and "Big Rocks". The role is responsible for the overall performance of the VAS business across N&B, spanning Issuer Solutions, Acceptance Solutions, Risk & Identity, Open Banking and emerging platform capabilities. The individual will partner closely with cluster and European leadership teams to embed VAS as a critical growth engine for Visa and create a significant step change in market performance, client adoption, and commercial outcomes. Reporting to the SVP, Head of Value Added Services Europe, this role is a member of both the VAS Europe Leadership Team and the Nordics & Baltics Leadership Team. Responsibilities: Drive the development and deployment of commercial capabilities focused on Issuer Solutions, Acceptance Solutions, Risk & Identity, and Open Banking. Maintain end-to-end accountability for the VAS sales pipeline in the cluster, delivering on cluster quarterly revenue outlook and annual plan targets. Oversee and report on the deployment and sales of VAS across all elements in the cluster. Ensure a growing percentage of clients utilize a range of our VAS capabilities, and facilitating the voice of the customer (pre and post sales) back to solution leads Drive Strategy 2030 and Platform Growth: Lead the refresh, localisation and execution of the VAS Strategy 2030 agenda across the Nordics & Baltics cluster. Drive platform sales, adoption and delivery across Visa's key strategic priorities and VAS growth pillars. Develop and execute a multi-year cluster strategy to accelerate VAS revenue growth, client penetration and market share. Translate European VAS priorities into clear cluster execution plans, ensuring alignment with Visa's broader growth strategy. Collaborate with all deployment channels to ensure a clear execution plan of VAS deployment to clients: Collaborate closely with Sales, Product, MS&A, CS, Advisory and other cluster functions, and ensure they are across the future roadmaps of solution Oversee all client commercial deals and prospective deals to ensure clear deployment of VAS is incorporated into the structure and executed. Leverage 'stand-alone' VAS deal approach to support deployment and growth Facilitating the growth of ‘reseller partners’ in the cluster to support the deployment of VAS Lead the sales team to achieve results: Provide leadership and strategic direction to the broader VAS organisation within the cluster, including specialised sellers, sales engineers and supporting VAS teams. Ensure high performance, team cohesiveness, and individual seller development for cluster sales personnel. Deploy resources for optimal revenue and/or sales growth across the wide set of opportunities Establish consistent, effective processes that incorporate the use of proven sales methodologies Build team’s product knowledge across all related Product domains so they can demonstrate product/service capabilities to customers at 200-300 level of technical depth Align client goals and timelines, executive engagement, and the effective delivery of value propositions Inspect progress and adjust activities as needed to achieve results Drive implementation of sales initiatives, report sales activity levels, close monitoring of forecast and pipeline Ensure roll out and adoption of sales best practices Work with cross-functional partners to ensure we have what we need to be successful with our clients: Manage close working partnerships with Visa stakeholders in each market/region – Group Country Managers, Client Relationship Managers, Heads of Product, Risk, Corporate Relations, Legal, Interchange, etc. Collaborate closely with regional leadership and global Product to ensure the regions product requirements are clearly understood and delivered Partner closely with regional and global Sales support functions – including Go-to-Market, Sales Enablement and Sales Operations – to adhere to best practices in making Visa Products easy to buy and easy to sell Work with local and global Product teams to improve the go-to-market strategy, define the right value proposition, and construct to meet client needs Work with regional GTM and Global Sales Enablement and Marketing to ensure our client facing materials are fit-for-purpose and help accelerate the learning and sales process Work with Legal to ensure client contracts drive to successful outcomes for both Visa and our clients Work with Client Delivery and Client Services to handoff the sale to implementation and ensure well-run projects Facilitate the capture and communication of client feedback on product and value-added services to inform product evolution Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager. Qualifications Proven senior leadership experience in payments, sales, technology, financial services, or consulting. Proven success leading commercial growth, sales, and business performance. Deep knowledge of the payments and digital commerce ecosystem preferred. Strong people leadership and talent development experience. Exceptional strategic, commercial, and stakeholder management capabilities. Proven ability to build strong partnerships and collaborate effectively across complex, cross-functional, and matrixed organizations. Strong understanding of the Nordic and Baltic landscape. Fluent in English and proficiency in a Nordic or Baltic language.
