Its work appears in flagship stores, showrooms, hotels, and offices for well-known brands across retail, luxury, automotive, hospitality, and tech, and clients keep coming back for repeat orders and multi-location rollouts. With the product and reputation already proven, the company is now building a dedicated new business function to match.The RoleAs Business Development Director, you will open doors with enterprise brands across Germany and Europe and turn first conversations into signed signage contracts. This is a true new business role: there is no inherited book of accounts, and you will have real autonomy over your pipeline, relationships, and approach.You will work with senior marketing, retail, and procurement stakeholders on the client side, then hand signed projects to an experienced internal delivery team, so your time goes into selling. This role is ideal for a structured hunter who knows how to get in front of the right people and hold their ground with procurement.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and win new enterprise brand accounts across Germany and Europe, from first outreach through to signed contractBuild and own relationships with Heads of Brand, Retail Marketing, Visual Merchandising, and senior marketing leadersNavigate multi-stakeholder buying processes involving marketing, retail operations, and procurementScope complex signage projects with clients and brief the internal delivery team clearly from day oneLead tenders, RFPs, pricing negotiations, and framework agreementsGrow accounts over time through repeat orders, upsell, and multi-location rolloutsRepresent the company at selected trade fairs and industry events such as EuroShop, chosen and worked strategicallyIdeal Candidate2–4 years of new business or key account experience selling complex physical projects to enterprise brandsHands-on procurement experience, including tenders, RFPs, pricing negotiations, and framework agreementsNative-level German and professional EnglishBased in Berlin or able to work from the Berlin office on a hybrid basisGenuine hunter mentality: comfortable building pipeline from scratch and getting in front of senior decision-makersCommercially structured: manages a pipeline with discipline and keeps complex, multi-stakeholder deals movingHolds firm in commercial negotiations while building relationships that lead to repeat businessNice to HaveAn existing network among brand, retail marketing, or visual merchandising leaders in DACHA background in signage, brand experience, retail or shopper marketing agencies, POS and visual merchandising, shopfitting, trade fair construction, event agencies with retail or hospitality clients, or large-format productionExperience working trade fairs as a lead generation channelFind more English Speaking Jobs in Germany on Arbeitnow
