The role will be responsible for ensuring that proposals for new activities are managed through a robust, transparent, and consistently applied governance framework. This includes overseeing the quality, completeness, integrity, timeliness, and control environment of the process, while providing constructive challenge to business documentation and ensuring that relevant stakeholders are appropriately engaged. The role will act as a central point of contact for New Activity Management, coordinating stakeholders across the organization and ensuring that the framework remains effective, up to date, and aligned with applicable regulatory requirements. Additionally, the role will also require to continuously improve and simplify the New Activity Management process, working with relevant stakeholders to identify best practices, eliminate unnecessary complexity, and improve the overall effectiveness and user experience of the process. Key responsibilities: 1. End-to-end New Activity Management process ownership Own and coordinate the end-to-end New Activity Management process. Act as the central point of contact for questions, guidance, and escalations related to the process. Coordinate the involvement of relevant business, risk, compliance, legal, finance, operations, and other stakeholders. Monitor the progress of new activity proposals and ensure that activities are completed within agreed timelines. Ensure appropriate documentation, approvals, and evidence are available throughout the process. Identify and escalate process gaps, and emerging issues. 2. Governance and control Maintain and oversee the New Activity Management governance framework, procedures, standards, and supporting documentation. Ensure that the process remains current and aligned with applicable internal policies and regulatory expectations. Ensure appropriate controls are embedded within the process and operating effectively. Monitor the quality, completeness, integrity, and timeliness of submissions. Support the preparation of management information and reporting on the New Activity Management process. 3.Credible challenge Provide constructive and independent challenge to business proposals and supporting documentation. Assess whether submissions provide sufficient information to enable appropriate review and decision-making. Challenge inconsistencies, gaps, unclear ownership, insufficient risk considerations, or incomplete documentation. Ensure that relevant stakeholders have been appropriately identified and involved. 4.Process improvement and simplification Continuously assess the effectiveness and efficiency of the New Activity Management process. Identify opportunities to simplify, streamline, and standardize processes and documentation. Lead or coordinate initiatives aimed at reducing unnecessary complexity and improving turnaround times. Gather feedback from stakeholders and translate it into practical process improvements. 5.Group coordination and best-practice sharing Work closely with Group stakeholders and relevant functions to understand and implement best practices. Support alignment of local processes with Group-wide New Activity Management standards and frameworks. Facilitate knowledge sharing across relevant teams and entities. Identify opportunities for greater consistency and standardization across the organization. We are looking for someone with: Fluent Polish and English (both written and spoken) is required. Experience in process management, governance, controls, or financial services. Strong understanding of end-to-end process management and governance frameworks. Experience coordinating complex processes involving multiple stakeholders and functions. Ability to provide constructive and credible challenge while maintaining effective stakeholder relationships. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement. Experience developing, maintaining, and implementing procedures, standards, and governance documentation. Strong organizational and project/coordination skills, including the ability to manage multiple activities and deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills. A continuous-improvement mindset and ability to translate complex requirements into practical, efficient processes. Experience in a banking or other highly regulated environment would be an advantage.
