Permission will be requested before including a candidate's name or resume in a proposal.AlphaGov is seeking an SAP Public Sector Consultant for remote, project-based work with cities, counties, school systems, special districts, utilities, and related public agencies. There is no guaranteed assignment.What you'll do:Support SAP public-sector pursuits and, when a contract is awarded, the related functional workstreamsMap agency finance, procurement, payroll, or grants processes to SAP public-sector modulesPlan configuration, testing, data conversion, and cutover for the modules you knowTranslate agency requirements into a staffing approach and past-performance narrative for proposals, only when the candidate has authorized namingAdvise on integrations between SAP and legacy finance, HR, or procurement systemsPrepare training and go-live readiness materials for agency usersFlag gaps in scope, data, or agency readiness before a proposal commits to themApply to be considered.RequirementsRequired: Hands-on SAP delivery for a government or other public-sector organization, as a functional lead or senior consultant Depth in at least one of SAP public-sector finance, procurement, payroll, grants, or funds management Experience with testing, data conversion, and cutover on an SAP project Able to explain your work in a proposal narrative without overstating your role Comfortable as a 1099 project-based collaborator, with occasional client travel Nice to have: SAP work for a city, county, state, school system, or utility A current or prior SAP certification relevant to the modules above Originally posted on Himalayas
