Sysco LABS’ enterprise technology is present in the end-to-end foodservice journey, enabling the sourcing of food products, merchandising, storage and warehouse operations, order placement and pricing algorithms, the delivery of food and supplies to Sysco’s global network and the in-restaurant dining experience of the end-customer. The Opportunity The Project Manager owns delivery of projects and initiatives from discovery and planning through release, implementation and closure. You work across multiple teams, keep scope, schedule and quality on track, manage risks and dependencies before they hurt commitments, and keep stakeholders informed with honest, regular updates. You are expected to use AI-assisted delivery tools in your day-to-day work and help teams do the same. Responsibilities: · Own end to end delivery execution across the teams in the assigned portfolio, delivering on time and within scope. · Coordinate with internal and external parties for flawless execution of projects. · Develop technically feasible project scopes and objectives with all relevant stakeholders. · Turn the roadmap and capacity into workable release and sprint plans with technical leads, and build detailed project plans that track progress and manage changes in scope and schedule. · Manage cross-team dependencies and sequencing, and escalate systemic risks to Delivery leadership. · Identify roadblocks and risks with the team, work to eliminate them, and escalate as required. Run risk management to minimise project risk. · Factor production stability and incident trends into delivery planning. · Work continuously with the Product Owner so user stories are clearly defined, estimated and prioritised by business priority, and keep management and stakeholders updated on status. · Track delivery velocity and execution health through regular metrics reviews, and adjust plans when risk signals appear. · Maintain status reporting, the RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) log and release tracking for senior stakeholders. · Run Agile ceremonies and regular delivery reviews across multiple delivery teams. · Govern milestones, risk and issue tracking, and quality gates through the full SDLC, including operational handoff. · Provide capacity and resourcing input for the teams in the portfolio. · Coach Scrum Masters and Project Leads on core Agile and delivery practices. · Find opportunities to automate project and release management work, cutting manual effort and improving delivery effectiveness. · Drive adoption of AI-enabled tools and new ways of working, identify capability gaps, and help teams improve productivity, delivery predictability and decision making. Requirements: · Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent. · 6+ years of relevant industry experience. · Professional certification in Project Management or Agile methodologies. PMP or CSM is required. PMI-ACP or equivalent is an added advantage. · Hands-on use of AI-assisted delivery tools is an added advantage. · Works well with cross-functional technology teams. · Strong stakeholder communication and relationship management. · Applies business domain knowledge and technical understanding to assess requirements, delivery challenges and business impact. · Identifies, assesses, tracks and mitigates project risks and issues, and escalates when needed. · Manages multiple priorities and competing deliverables in a fast-paced technology environment without losing quality or delivery focus.
