As an oncology practice alliance comprised of more than 40 sites, Navista provides the support community practices need to fuel their growth—while maintaining their independence.What Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) contributes to Cardinal HealthPractice Operations Management oversees the business and administrative operations of medical practices.The Revenue Cycle Management manages a team focused on a series of clinical and administrative processes that healthcare providers utilize to capture, bill, and collect patient service revenue. The revenue cycle shadows the entire patient care journey and begins with patient appointment scheduling and ends when the patient’s account balance is zero.ResponsibilitiesPatient & Care Team SupportLead a team of financial counselors providing real‑time support to patients, physicians, nurses, and care coordinators throughout the oncology care continuumServe as an escalation point for complex or urgent patient financial issues that could delay or disrupt careEnsure financial counseling services are embedded into clinical workflows to support same‑day decisions and treatment startsPromote a patient‑centered approach that balances financial clarity, empathy, and access to careRevenue Cycle LeadershipOversee front‑end revenue cycle functions, including insurance verification, benefits interpretation, prior authorization support, and patient cost estimationEnsure timely identification and resolution of coverage issues prior to treatment initiationCollaborate with downstream RCM teams (coding, billing, collections, denial management) to ensure continuity and accuracy across the revenue cycleMonitor KPIs related to access, counseling timeliness, authorization turnaround, point‑of‑service collections, and financial clearance ratesFinancial Assistance & Access ProgramsManage processes for screening and enrolling patients into financial assistance programs, including manufacturer assistance, charity care, grants, and foundation supportMaintain expertise in oncology‑specific reimbursement, benefit designs, and emerging payer policiesEnsure compliant and consistent application of financial assistance guidelines and documentationTeam Leadership & DevelopmentRecruit, train, mentor, and evaluate financial counseling staff across multiple sites or service linesEstablish standard operating procedures and best practices for immediate patient and provider supportFoster strong communication, accountability, and service excellence within the teamProvider & Operational PartnershipAct as a trusted operational partner to physicians, APPs, nursing leaders, and practice administratorsTranslate financial and coverage information into clear, actionable guidance for care teamsParticipate in clinic leadership meetings and cross‑functional initiatives focused on access, growth, and patient experienceCompliance & QualityEnsure all financial counseling activities comply with regulatory, payer, and organizational requirementsSupport internal and external audits related to financial clearance, authorizations, and assistance programsContinuously improve processes to reduce administrative burden on clinical teams and patientsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience) preferred5+ years of progressive experience in healthcare revenue cycle or financial counseling, preferably in oncology preferred3+ years of people management or team leadership experience preferredStrong knowledge of insurance plans, oncology benefits, prior authorizations, and patient financial responsibility preferredDemonstrated ability to work directly with clinical teams in fast‑paced care environmentsExperience in a large MSO, multi‑site oncology practice, or complex specialty settingFamiliarity with EHR and RCM systems (e.g., Epic, Aria/Mosaiq, OncoEMR, or similar)Deep understanding of oncology drug reimbursement models, including buy‑and‑bill, specialty pharmacy carve‑outs, and alternate funding pathwaysKnowledge of ASP, WAC, AWP, and other drug pricing methodologies and their impact on charge capture and marginFamiliarity with Medicare Part B vs. Part D, commercial payer variations, and site‑of‑care reimbursement differencesWhat is expected of you and others at this levelManages department operations and supervises professional employees, front line supervisors and/or business support staffParticipates in the development of policies and procedures to achieve specific goalsEnsures employees operate within guidelinesDecisions have a short-term impact on work processes, outcomes and customersInteracts with subordinates, peers, customers, and suppliers at various management levels; may interact with senior managementInteractions normally involve resolution of issues related to operations and/or projectsGains consensus from various parties involvedAnticipated salary range: $98,200.00 - $126,270.00Bonus Eligible: NoBenefits:Cardinal Health offers a wide variety of benefits and programs to support health and well-being.Medical, dental and vision coveragePaid time off planHealth savings account (HSA)401k savings planAccess to wages before pay day with myFlexPayFlexible spending accounts (FSAs)Short- and long-term disability coverageWork-Life resourcesPaid parental leaveHealthy lifestyle programsApplication window anticipated to close: 11/16/26, if interested in opportunity, please submit application as soon as possible.The salary range listed is an estimate.
