This is an opportunity to work with cutting-edge startups addressing critical healthcare challenges and contribute to shaping our investment pipeline.Location: UK-based, with 2 days per week minimum in our London office (flexible remote working for remaining days)Duration: 6 monthsRate: £6,000 / month gross Start Date: Start of JanuaryKey ResponsibilitiesSource and identify high-quality pre-seed to seed stage startups in the health technology space, with a focus on oncology, neurological health, remote patient monitoring, longevity and cardiovascular health.Conduct initial screening and analysis of investment opportunities, including market assessment, competitive landscape analysis, and commercial viability evaluationLead due diligence processes on prospective portfolio companies, working closely with technical and clinical advisors as neededPrepare investment memos for committee membersLeverage existing networks to identify promising founders and emerging health tech startups across the UK & EU ecosystemExperience & Expertise:Proven experience in venture capital investing, with a track record of evaluating early-stage opportunitiesStrong understanding of the health technology landscapeDemonstrated ability to source, assess, and conduct due diligence on pre-seed to seed stage startupsExperience building and presenting investment cases to investment committees or partnersNetwork & Relationships:Established network within the UK/ EU health tech startup ecosystemExisting relationships with founders, accelerators, universities, or other sources of early-stage deal flowSkills:Analytical and financial modeling capabilitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple opportunities simultaneouslyCommercial acumen and understanding of startup business modelsDesirable QualificationsBackground in life sciences, healthcare, or related technical fieldExperience working with or advising healthcare startupsKnowledge of the UK/EU health tech funding landscape and key ecosystem playersFamiliarity with regulatory considerations in digital health and medical devicesFind more English Speaking Jobs in United Kingdom on Arbeitnow
