About Scale MediaFor the past 12 years, Scale Media has been building and scaling science-backed wellness brands. Our portfolio of brands, including Live Conscious, 1MD, and Essential Elements, has grown to 9 figures in revenue while operating profitably with no external funding. Our team is made up of operators, marketers, and builders focused on products consumers actually trust. We're investing heavily in data and AI to sharpen how we develop products and scale brands. We believe the best decisions come from data, curiosity, and continuous learning. We value high ownership, candid feedback, and thoughtful execution. As a fully remote company, we lead with clear communication, accountability, and trust, and we give people real room to grow and make an impact.Scale Media has been recognized as one of Forbes' Best Startup Employers, a Great Place to Work, an Inc. Best Workplace, and an Inc. 5000 company. If you take ownership, think for yourself, and like solving hard problems alongside people who do the same, you'll fit right in.The RoleWe're looking for a Senior Director, Growth to lead our paid acquisition and Amazon teams across our portfolio of DTC wellness brands. This is a senior role, but not a pure strategy role. We need someone with deep platform expertise who is in the data every day, managing performance with the team and raising the bar on media buying. We expect Meta and paid social to be our biggest growth levers, so strong Meta experience is essential, and you'll lead performance across every paid channel. On top of daily performance, you'll work with the VP of Growth and Analytics to set LTV/CAC and MER targets by product line, decide what signal we send to every channel, and help shape how paid media supports retention. DTC paid media drives significant halo to Amazon, so you'll lead Amazon alongside DTC and manage how the two work together. You'll partner closely with Analytics, Creative, and Ecommerce, and report to the VP of Growth. What You'll Own Daily performance management. Reviewing performance every day across brands, channels, and Amazon, catching issues and opportunities early, and driving the team to act on them. Leading the paid acquisition and Amazon teams. Managing and developing both teams, raising the bar on media buying, and building the next layer of leaders. Cross-channel strategy and budget allocation. Deciding where the next dollar goes across brands, product lines, and channels (Google, Meta, Bing, others). Unit economics and targets. Working with the VP of Growth and Analytics to set LTV/CAC and MER targets by product line, and holding acquisition to them. Signal strategy. Deciding what signal we send to each platform, such as value-based bidding, LTV- or margin-weighted conversions, and offline events, and making sure it's implemented correctly. Amazon. Leading the Amazon channel and measuring and managing the halo between DTC paid media and Amazon sales. Paid media and retention. Shaping how paid media supports retention, including existing-customer suppression, win-back, and new vs. returning customer reporting by channel. Measurement. Working with Analytics and our measurement partners (MTA, lift testing, MMM) to continuously improve how we decide where to allocate budget. Testing. Running a structured test roadmap across channels, tactics, offers, and landing pages, and knowing which results to scale and which to cut. AI-enabled workflows. Driving the use of AI tools and automation across acquisition to speed up reporting, analysis, and optimization. What Success Looks Like Double-digit new customer revenue growth while hitting brand and product-level LTV/CAC and MER targets Scaled paid media spend across channels and brands A daily performance rhythm where problems are caught and fixed in days, not weeks A media buying team that's measurably stronger and makes better decisions on its own Budget allocation driven by marginal returns and incrementality, not platform-reported ROAS Platform signal that steers bidding toward higher-value customers A measured view of DTC-to-Amazon halo that shapes how we invest across both Paid media and retention working together, with clean new vs. returning customer reporting What We're Looking For Deep platform expertise. You've led 8-figure Meta and paid social spend, can diagnose an account yourself, have a playbook for scaling without losing efficiency that adapts as platforms evolve, and know the major platforms well enough to challenge your team's decisions. Drive to be in the numbers every day. Seniority hasn't taken you out of the data. You review performance daily, notice when something moves, and work with the team until you understand and address it. People leadership. You've managed media buying teams, developed strong buyers into leaders, and raised the bar through others. Cross-channel ownership. You've owned budget and performance across multiple paid channels for consumer brands. Unit economics depth. You've set or materially shaped LTV/CAC, payback, or MER targets and know how to translate them into channel and product-line targets. Measurement sophistication. You understand MTA, lift testing, and MMM, the limits of each, and how to use them together to make budget decisions. Signal and data strategy. You've improved platform optimization through better conversion signal, such as value-based bidding, Conversions API enrichment, or offline conversions. Marketplace understanding. You understand how paid media drives Amazon sales and how to measure and plan for that halo. Cross-functional influence. You work well with Analytics, Creative, and Ecommerce, and can align them around shared targets. AI fluency. You actively use AI tools to speed up analysis, reporting, and execution. 10+ years of relevant experience, including managing teams and owning multi-channel budgets. Strong candidate backgrounds include: Heads of growth or acquisition at scaled DTC brands who still run performance day to day Directors who have owned multi-channel budgets and are ready for broader scope Agency leaders who've run performance for large, multi-channel ecommerce clients Preferred, but Not Required Hands-on Amazon Ads or marketplace experience Experience with retention or CRM programs Experience in supplements, wellness, beauty, or consumer subscription businesses Experience operating across multi-brand portfolios What We Offer Salary: $200,000 - $300,000 depending on experience Excellent Medical, Dental, Vision and Life insurance Fully remote, full-time position Monthly WFH stipend Generous Paid Time Off program Discounted Products An amazing team to work alongside Please click the link for our privacy notice:Applicant Privacy Policy NoticeAbout Scale Media For the past 12 years, Scale Media has been building and scaling science-backed wellness brands.
