Job Details: Job Description: The Role and Impact Join Intel as an AI Software Engineering Graduate Intern, where you'll actively contribute to the creation and optimization of AI workload solutions. In this role, you will focus on reproducing AI inference workloads, analyzing system performance, identifying bottlenecks, and translating insights to support hardware/software co-design. Key Responsibilities - Collaborate on profiling and optimizing AI algorithms, frameworks, and software architectures for performance and accuracy. - Reproduce real-world production AI inference workloads and develop representative workload profiles. - Conduct performance analysis across software and hardware stacks, identifying system bottlenecks. - Translate workload insights to support hardware/software co-design initiatives for AI systems. - Assist in applied research and integration of hardware/software solutions for advanced AI systems. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications - Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field with 0-1 years of hands-on experience in the domain, showcasing skills gained through internships, academic projects, coursework, or hands-on training, OR a Master's degree in a relevant field with no prior professional experience. - Proficiency in Python programming for experimentation and development. - Fundamental knowledge of AI algorithms, models, and workload development. - Familiarity with AI frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow. - Basic understanding of computer architecture concepts, performance analysis, and profiling techniques. Preferred Qualifications - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to operate effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional engineering environment. - Interest in AI systems research and real-world AI applications across diverse domains.
