This is a remote position.Location: Hybrid | Experience: 5–8 years About the RoleWe are looking for an SAP Functional Consultant to support implementation, enhancement, and stabilization of SAP modules across finance, tax, and trade processes that power our global operations. You'll partner with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable SAP solutions. Key Responsibilities Gather and analyze business requirements; convert them into functional specifications and SAP configuration Configure and support core modules (SAP FI/CO, MM, SD — specify per module need) including integration touchpoints with ONESOURCE/tax engines where relevant Lead fit-gap analysis, process mapping, and solution design workshops Manage end-to-end testing cycles (unit, integration, UAT) and support cutover/go-live activities Create functional documentation, training materials, and conduct user training Troubleshoot production issues and drive root-cause resolution with technical (ABAP) teams Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Tax, IT) on process improvement initiatives Requirements Required Skills 5+ years hands-on SAP functional experience in at least one core module (FI/CO, MM, or SD) Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration projects Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes (order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, or record-to-report) Ability to write functional specs for ABAP/technical teams Experience with integration to third-party tax/compliance tools (e.g., ONESOURCE, Vertex, Avalara) is a plus SAP certification preferred Strong stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills Nice to Have Exposure to SAP Fiori/UI5, SAP BTP, or S/4HANA Cloud Domain knowledge in legal, tax, or financial services industries Originally posted on Himalayas
