The company is PE-acquired and funded as of 2025, is profitable, has 3M+ registered traders globally, and has a mandate to scale 10x over 4 years.The RoleYou will own features and reliability in GoCharting's next-gen web terminal: a real-time multi-chart trading workspace and dense market UI. The work spans product features, performance, state and sync correctness, and production incident fixes raised by active traders.What You'll Do Design and ship end-to-end features in the production terminal, and keep combine/parity paths aligned when needed Debug hard multi-tab, hydrate, and persistence races Improve performance on large lists and busy charts – virtualization, subscription lifecycle, and avoiding expensive Redux churn Collaborate with the product and design teams on UX Write clear PRs, and communicate risk on sync, auth, and adjacent broker paths Mentor the team – raise the bar on React patterns, state boundaries, and “fix the cause, not the symptom” What We're Looking ForMust-Haves 5+ years shipping complex React SPAs – hooks-first, with comfort in legacy class components Strong TypeScript/JavaScript and Redux (or an equivalent global + local store architecture) Experience with realtime / high-frequency UI – websockets, live lists, charting, trading, or similar Proven debugging of cross-window state, persistence, or multi-store sync bugs Comfort in a large monorepo – webpack, shared packages, long-lived feature branches Clear written communication with product and peers Nice-to-Haves Chart products, market data, or broker integrations Canvas/SVG/WebGL charting, WASM, transpilation Virtualized lists (react-window etc.) and Emotion/styled UI systems Vitest/Jest, and Bitbucket/GitHub workflows Performance profiling in Chrome for long-lived trading sessions LogisticsLocation: Remote / hybridEmployment Type: Full-TimeReports To: Engineering Lead / Product EngineeringOriginally posted on Himalayas
