Your Role Ensure that enterprise product strategy and architecture strategy match, reinforce each other, and drive business value. This includes shaping the enterprise's AI adoption strategy - identifying where AI creates measurable leverage. Strike the right balance between long-term elegance, enterprise scalability, and short-term pragmatism. Provide authoritative architectural and technical guidance to senior stakeholders and the broader Tech area. Define and enforce enterprise-wide engineering standards, best practices, and architectural guardrails. Lead the design of complex, multi-domain systems. Actively participate in high-stakes architectural discussions, utilizing prototypes and proofs-of-concept to validate enterprise-level solutions before widespread rollout. Drive the department's overarching technical roadmap. Evaluate the current tech portfolio, manage technical debt at an organizational level, and guide "build vs. buy" decisions. Deep, progressive work experience moving from a senior software developer to a high-impact architectural role (Enterprise, Principal, or Chief Architect) in a dynamic, scaled environment. Possess an expert understanding of modern enterprise technology landscapes and are highly comfortable governing our overall Tech Stack: AWS, Docker, Microservices, Golang, Java, Python, React.js, MySQL, Postgres, Redis, Concourse, GitHub, Prometheus. This extends to AI infrastructure. Have profound, enterprise-scale experience with AWS services. Understand how to design multi-account organizational structures, global network architectures, and complex application layers. Deeply familiar with cloud governance and security tools. Have comprehensive experience spanning Backend/APIs, Frontend/JS, System Design, and DevOps. Understand how these domains interact at a macroeconomic scale. Communicate flawlessly in written and verbal English. Have a deep understanding of agile and lean processes at an enterprise scale.
