We are looking for someone who is comfortable behind the camera, editing Reels and TikToks, identifying trends, coaching local teams, and developing content strategies that can scale across a large organization.The Social Media Coordinator will manage our social presence while also helping our practices become stronger content creators themselves through training, resources, and ongoing support.Key ResponsibilitiesContent Creation & Social StrategyDevelop and execute social media content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and emerging platformsCreate engaging short-form video content, including Reels and TikToksFilm, edit, and publish content featuring doctors, team members, patients when appropriate, office culture, education, technology, recruiting, and brand personalityIdentify relevant social trends and translate them into content appropriate for dental practices and the GDP brandWrite engaging captions and social copy while maintaining individual practice brand voicesBuild content strategies that balance scalable national content with authentic, office-specific contentMaintain social content calendars and ensure consistent posting across participating practicesMonitor performance and use social analytics to continually improve contentPractice Support & TrainingLead monthly virtual social media trainings and check-ins with participating practicesTeach office teams how to capture better photos and videos and create engaging social contentDevelop simple content guides, prompts, shot lists, and best practices that make it easy for offices to participateServe as the primary social media resource for practice teamsIdentify offices and team members who are strong content creators and help turn their ideas into scalable examples for the broader organizationOn-Site Content CreationTravel to each of GDP's eight regions approximately once per year to capture original contentPlan content shoots in advance to maximize the amount of usable content captured during each visitCapture a mix of practice-specific and evergreen content, including educational videos, technology, team culture, recruiting, doctor features, trends, and personality-driven contentOrganize and maintain a content library that can be repurposed across practices and platformsSocial Media InfrastructureSupport the continued rollout and management of social accounts across GDP practicesEnsure appropriate access, backup accounts, permissions, and account organization are maintainedHelp establish scalable processes as GDP continues to grow beyond 160 locationsPartner with the broader marketing team to ensure social supports quarterly campaigns, brand initiatives, recruiting efforts, and practice-level prioritiesWhat We're Looking For2–4 years of experience in social media, content creation, digital marketing, or a related roleStrong experience creating and editing short-form video contentProficiency with tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Canva, or similar editing platformsComfortable filming content using both smartphones and professional/basic camera equipmentStrong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Reels, trends, algorithms, and platform best practicesAbility to take a broad strategy and translate it into creative, engaging contentComfortable coaching and training people who may have little social media experienceStrong project management and organizational skillsAbility to manage content across a large number of brands and locations without sacrificing qualityComfortable working independently and taking ownership of social strategy and executionStrong communication and relationship-building skillsWillingness to travel approximately 8 regional trips per yearWhat Success Looks LikeSuccess in this role goes beyond simply increasing the number of posts published.
