This role is responsible for building sustainable talent pipelines through graduate hiring, internship programs, and partnerships with universities, technical colleges, and vocational schools. As a senior individual contributor, you will partner with business leaders and executives to shape workforce strategies, strengthen university relationships, and drive long-term talent acquisition success. Key Responsibilities University Recruiting Strategy Develop and execute graduate hiring and internship strategies across Japan. Build sustainable talent pipelines aligned with long-term workforce planning. Leverage labor market intelligence and competitive insights to shape recruiting strategies. University Partnerships & Employer Branding Build and maintain relationships with universities, technical colleges, vocational schools, government agencies, and industry associations. Lead student engagement programs and recruiting events. Strengthen Micron’s employer brand and increase awareness among future talent. Recruiting Program Leadership Lead end-to-end university recruiting and internship programs. Deliver an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruiting lifecycle. Drive hiring outcomes while ensuring program effectiveness and scalability. Stakeholder Partnership & Influence Partner closely with hiring managers and business leaders on hiring plans and workforce needs. Provide insights and recommendations on talent market trends and hiring forecasts. Collaborate with HR and global recruiting teams to drive recruiting success. Talent Intelligence & Recruiting Innovation Leverage recruiting analytics and KPI reporting to improve outcomes. Drive adoption of AI-enabled recruiting practices and technologies. Build scalable recruiting processes that improve efficiency and candidate engagement. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree. 10+ years of Talent Acquisition or Recruiting experience. 5+ years of experience in university recruiting, campus recruiting, workforce planning, or strategic talent initiatives. Experience leading graduate hiring and internship programs. Strong project management skills. Native or fluent level Japanese and business-level English communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Recruiting experience in semiconductor, technology, manufacturing, or engineering industries. Experience supporting university partnerships or talent development initiatives.
