You will be creatingand maintaining datasets of information on chemical substances and regulations, byextracting data from websites and documents, and processing this information using Exceland a variety of Yordas’ software tools and Excel-based macros.Prior knowledge of chemical substances and regulations is not required. You will be workingin an international and diverse team who will provide you with the necessary training andguidance to perform the work. All the work can be carried out remotely, and you will haveopportunities for regular contact with your team leader via email, chat or video call. Thehours are totally flexible - most people tend to work 5-10 hours per week but you can reduceor increase your hours depending on the demands of your course.Skills required for the role Proficiency in Excel (knowledge of macros a bonus but not required) Logical and analytical approach to tasks Ability to quickly find solutions to problems Good attention to detail We are ideally looking for students who are doing a degree in Chemistry or another Science,Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) subject, although this is not essential.
