The Supervisor Production is responsible for all aspects of the shift manufacturing operator team. This position reports to the Value Stream Leader and is part of Operations located in Hoegaarden and will be an on-site role. What you will do: People management of shift production team: You are ultimately responsible for the operational manufacturing activities during your shift and you own people development within the department, including performance reviews and goal setting. You follow up on job classifications by evaluating and developing operators in collaboration with the internal trainer. End result ownership of shift production team:Optimize workforce deployment, taking work centers, operator qualifications, job rotation and production planning into account and ensure smooth shift transitions by coordinating start-ups, shutdowns and changeovers, including communication and paperwork. Responsibility for quality control by making adjustments as required during the shift to ensure products remain within specifications, and by rejecting products that fall outside specifications.Take responsibility for efficiency, on-time delivery, safety and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) compliance, including critical parameters, batch documentation, behaviors and visual management. You work in close collaboration with other departments, including Supply Chain, Quality, Project Managers and Manufacturing Engineering, and interact frequently with global stakeholders. As a people leader, you support our organisation’s Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental Management System as part of the continuous improvement process. In this regard, you take responsibility and accountability for supporting and coaching your employees. Who you are: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Minimum of three years of relevant first-line leadership experience. Fluency in Dutch and English is required. You are proficient in MS Office, especially Excel. Experience with ERP software, preferably SAP, is a plus. You are able to work shifts. It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: Lean manufacturing techniques You have a genuine interest in technology.
