At our company, FP&A doesn't grow with the volume of work, but with its impact on the business. Data preparation, variance commentary and standard reports belong to automation and agents. Our people's time belongs to what machines can't do: judgment, model logic, challenge and decisions. If an additional hire enables significantly more impact, we grow. But never to absorb manual work that is better built than distributed.You are the first dedicated hire in FP&A, start as an Individual Contributor and work directly with the CFO and management. Our existing models and tools have grown organically and are partly manual. You understand them, keep what works, rebuild the rest and automate consistently. With AI agents, you build the leverage that elsewhere would take an entire team.Outlook: The path to Head of FP&A is open, but not planned for the short term.
