About DustWork is being rewritten, and the people holding the pen are the ones who actually run it.With enterprise-grade governance, flexible model choice, and a collaborative interface for humans and agents to work together, Dust empowers AI Operators at the world’s fastest-moving companies to rewire how work gets done. With 70%+ weekly active users, people stick with Dust as much as they do with Slack and Notion. We don't get piloted and shelved. We land once, and spread. We're at an exciting stage of our journey, and growing fast. We're serving great customers like Datadog, 1Password, Cursor, Clay, Vanta and Persona, and aim to x5 our growth by the end of 2026.Dust is backed by Sequoia with a determined team of optimists (coming from Stripe, OpenAI, and Stanford) who like to focus on users, ship fast, and don't take themselves too seriously while doing so. The Generalist named us among the Future 50.SummaryWe're hiring our first dedicated BDR for the UK market to build and own early-stage pipeline in London. This is a net-new role — you won't inherit a warm book of business, and that's the point. You'll be the person who figures out how we win in the UK, running outbound from day one with real ownership over a market we're just beginning to unlock. For the right person, this is a direct path to AE.What you'll doOwn outbound pipeline generationRun high-volume, high-quality outbound across email, LinkedIn, and cold calling targeting UK enterprise buyersBuild and iterate on sequences that get responses — you write the copy, test the angles, and improve the numbersHit 30+ meetings booked per month, consistentlyDrive event presence and follow-upRepresent Dust at UK-based events and convert conversations into pipelineOwn follow-up from events with speed and precision — no leads left to go coldFeed event insights back into outbound messagingSupport AEs and help close the loopPartner with AEs on follow-up for warm conversations that need a nudgeHelp keep deals moving in the early stages without taking over the sales cycleBe the connective tissue between early interest and a qualified meetingBuild market and product knowledgeDevelop genuine fluency in Dust's product and how it maps to UK buyer problemsStay close to what's happening in the UK AI and enterprise software landscapeUse that knowledge to personalise outreach and earn credibility with buyers fastIterate and improve the playbookTrack what's working and what isn't — bring data and hypotheses, not just activityContribute to a BDR playbook that doesn't exist yet; you're building itUse AI tools to research accounts, personalise at scale, and work smarterRequirementsEvery candidate and employee's success is measured against the same 3 dimensions. Aptitude, Attitude and Agency.AptitudeYou have prior BDR experience and a proven record of booking meetings through outbound — cold calling, email sequencing, and LinkedIn are second natureYou can hold a sharp, credible conversation with a senior buyer that earns an AE meeting, not just a rejectionYou know how to manage and improve your own metrics — pipeline velocity, conversion rates, outreach quality — without needing to be coached on what to trackYou're genuinely fluent in AI tools and use them to research accounts, personalise outreach, and scale your output — not as a novelty but as a core part of how you workYou understand the UK enterprise software landscape well enough to know who to target, how to reach them, and what they actually care aboutAttitudeYou're resilient — rejection is information, not discouragement, and you stay sharp across a full day of outboundYou're collaborative with AEs and the wider team without being dependent on them to generate your pipelineYou give and receive direct feedback, and you're honest about what's working and what isn'tYou're scrappy — you find a way when the playbook doesn't exist, and you don't wait for perfect conditions to performYou show up prepared, energised, and ready to represent Dust well in every interaction with a prospectAgencyYou don't wait for a territory or a sequence to be handed to you — you build your own approach and take ownership of the UK market from day oneYou're on track to be an AE and you act like it — you understand the full sales motion and you're already thinking about what comes after the meeting is bookedYou iterate on your messaging independently: you test, analyse, and improve without being askedYou spot gaps in coverage — an untouched segment, a weak follow-up cadence, a missed event — and you act on them before anyone else noticesYou treat 30 meetings/month as a floor, not a ceilingLocationWe're prioritizing building our team with an in-person culture at our offices in Paris, London, San Francisco, and New York because we value the magic that happens when talented people work closely together. We have an office-first culture. Some of the best things about building at Dust are the energy, the fast decisions, and the unexpected conversations that unlock a hard problem, which happen because we are in the same room. Being together is not a formality, it is how we do our best work, and it is something we actively protect. That said, we hire people with strong judgement and we extend that trust to how they manage their time. When working from home makes more sense for what you need to get done that day, we trust you to make that call. Why DustThe models are powerful enough. What's missing is the product layer where AI meets how companies actually work. That's what we're building: the infrastructure that lets any team turn scattered knowledge and tools into coordinated execution with agents they build, own, and run themselves. We use Dust ourselves every day. We get to shape how humans and agents collaborate while solving our own problems with the product we ship. That loop is rare, and it's why we move fast.If you're excited about defining a new category and want to join a determined team of optimists who focus on users, ship fast, and don't take themselves too seriously, we'd love to talk.Even if you don't check every box in our requirements, we encourage you to apply. We value diverse perspectives and backgrounds, and we're more interested in your potential and passion than a perfect match to our checklist.
