Your Role as a Virtual Home Health COTA As aCertified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), you will provide skilled virtual therapy services under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist. Your care will empower patients to regain independence and improve their ability to perform daily activities safely. Key Responsibilities: Direct Care:Provide occupational therapy treatments according to the plan of care established by the supervising Occupational Therapist. ADL Support:Assist patients with improving activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility. Education:Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques, assistive technology, and environmental safety strategies. Clinical Monitoring:Monitor patient progress, track outcomes, and report clinical changes promptly to the supervising Occupational Therapist. Collaboration:Partner closely with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to deliver holistic care.
