Our goal is to make our modern and innovative liposomal technology available to everyone.To get closer to our goal, we are looking for a:Food safety coordinator (f/m/d)in full-time, 40 hoursAs part of the Quality Management team, you will contribute to strengthening the company’s food safety culture. This role combines a strong focus on documentation, risk assessment, and quality systems with some hands-on laboratory tasks in microbiology and cleaning validation.Tasks:Verify CAPA effectiveness and support continuous improvement activitiesCoordinate and monitor HACCP, VACCP, and TACCP programs, including meetings and risk assessmentsReview and approve new raw materials, packaging materials, and suppliers, including risk assessmentsManage quality management system documentation and internal change management processesSupport the Quality Control department with microbiological analysesSupport the validation of cleaning chemicals and related cleaning processesSupport certification audits, supplier evaluations, facility inspections, trainings, and food safety culture projectsRequired qualifications:BSc or MSC in food science, food engineering or related field (food technology, biotechnology, pharma technology)at least 3+ years’ experience in the food industry in quality related positionsexperience with root cause analysis tools (5 why, fish bone, ….)solid understanding of GMP guidelines and other relevant regulations in the food industryHACCP knowledge and experience in conducting risk assessmentsexperience with ISO 22000 or FSSC 22000 or other certifications in a food manufacturing companybasic knowledge of European and national law for food and food packaging would be of advantageexperience in conducting audits / Qualification as an internal auditor in the food industry would be of advantageability to work in a team and strong communication skillshigh sense of responsibility and independenceteam spirit, reliability, and solid work ethicgood communication skills in English (B2) and preferably also in German (B1+)general PC skills (MS Windows, Office)Mutual respect, reliability and self-initiative are a matter of course for us.Why PlantaCorp:We offer you a challenging job in a varied environment of open doors and small hierarchy.
