You'll own the complete events strategy and portfolio, from flagship conferences to community-building initiatives. You'll lead end-to-end execution for marquee events like CamundaCon, to strategic Pan-EMEA conferences, while also architecting and scaling the Camunda roadshow program across the region. You'll partner strategically with product, sales, marketing, customer success, agencies, and field teams to create memorable experiences that position Camunda as the process orchestration thought leader.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Event Portfolio OwnershipOwn and execute the EMEA flagship and portfolio event strategyEstablish KPIs and measure ROI for each event; drive pipeline impact and brand lift metricsManage budgets across the full portfolio and negotiate contracts with venues, sponsors, and vendorsOwn all aspects of event delivery: venue selection and contracts, vendor management, budget ownership, speaker coordination, attendee engagement, and post-event analysisCamunda regional roadshows - CamundaLocals ProgramOwn and manage the complete EMEA CamundaLocals program as a scalable, repeatable initiativeDefine measurement frameworks and follow-up processes to track engagement and pipeline contributionStakeholder CollaborationWork cross-functionally with product, sales, marketing, customer success, and partnerships teams to ensure events align with business priorities and deliver measurable valueSecure executive and product leader participation for flagship eventsBuild relationships with sponsors, industry partners, and media to amplify Camunda's market presenceContent & Speaker StrategyDevelop compelling event agendas that showcase Camunda's product innovations and customer success storiesRecruit and manage speakers from Camunda leadership, customers, and industry expertsCurate content that resonates with technical and business audiences alikeDesign breakout sessions, workshops, and networking formats that drive engagementCommunity & Relationship BuildingWorking with Customer Marketing, use flagship events and CamundaLocals to strengthen the Camunda community and gather customer feedbackMarketing & CommunicationsLead multi-channel event promotion: email, social media and partner channelsDevelop and execute post-event strategiesTrack event impact on lead generation, brand awareness, pipeline contribution, and community engagementAnalyse and present event ROI and attendee valueRequired Experience & Skills7+ years of events management experience, with at least 3+ years leading large-scale flagship events or conferences (500+ attendees) in B2B technology or enterprise softwareProven track record managing complex, multi-event portfolios with significant budgets from conception to completion, including ROI analysis and optimizationDeep understanding of EMEA markets, geographies, regulatory environments, and event landscapes; demonstrated success managing multi-country events across EuropeExceptional project management, vendor negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration skills in matrix-driven environmentsExperience building and scaling repeatable programsStrong communication and presentation abilities; capacity to influence executives and manage multiple stakeholdersProficiency with event technology platformsAbility to manage multiple events simultaneously with meticulous attention to detail and strategic thinkingNice to HaveExperience in B2B software, cloud, automation, or enterprise technology sectorsFamiliarity with process automation, workflow automation, or business process management solutionsExperience leading virtual, hybrid, or fully in-person event strategiesKnowledge of event sponsorship strategy and vendor partnership developmentTrack record of building and scaling community programs or user group networksExperience with financial services, fintech, or mission-critical enterprise software marketsThis role is an existing vacancy#LI-JS1 #LI-Remote #EMEAWestWhat We Have to Offer:CompensationWe offer competitive, fair, and transparent compensation. Salary ranges are location-based, with Standard and Major markets (global tech hubs) reflecting local competition.The Annual Total Target Cash (base salary + 100% variable target, where applicable) shown below spans from the minimum in a Standard market to the maximum in a Major market.
