Steering Virtual Testing Intern - VM

Vehicle Motion provides solutions for mobility through steering, braking, occupant safety, and vehicle dynamic sensors. Vehicle Motion is also a leader in the software and services that will support the future of Software Defined Vehicles. Bosch Vehicle Motion North America is searching for a student to help support the Virtual Vehicle Testing and CAE departments. The ideal candidate should be interested and passionate about automotive systems, vehicle dynamics, and simulation. Support Steering System Hardware-in-Loop team with product development tasks such as test support and testing chamber prep Support Steering CAE team with mechanical simulations Document and maintain technical product data and procedures Assist with/Develop Testing scripts utilizing Matlab, Simulink, and CarSim Assist/Develop Data analysis scripts utilizing MATLAB or dSPACE Automation desk Assist with/Develop a Virtual Vehicle Environment Minimum Qualifications: Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Engineering or related field Minimum 18 years of age Minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA Understanding of Mechanical/Electrical fundamentals Excellent oral and written communication skills This internship can be up to 12 months in duration. Preferred Qualifications: Involvement in Formula SAE or Formula Baja preferred Strong knowledge of vehicle dynamics Strong interpersonal skills Experience with Matlab/Simulink preferred Experience with Abaqus/Ansys preferred Experience with CarSim Proficient with hands on skills All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
