Technical Lead – Cloud & GPU Platform

We’re looking for a UK-based, hands-on Technical Lead to help build ThermAI FlightDeck, our platform for running AI and research workloads across cloud providers and, as we roll them out, our own heat-recovering GPU servers.Working closely with our founder and CTO, you’ll lead day-to-day software delivery, coordinate a small development team and stay actively involved in coding. You’ll turn product requirements into practical technical designs, review code, improve testing and deployment, and take responsibility for the quality and reliability of releases.You should have experience leading technical delivery and taking backend or cloud platforms into production. Strong TypeScript/Node.js, AWS, PostgreSQL and Docker experience is important; our frontend uses React. Experience with Linux, job queues, infrastructure automation and monitoring would be valuable. GPU or HPC experience is a bonus.This is a full-time role for someone based in the UK who enjoys solving practical problems, making sensible technical trade-offs and taking ownership in an early-stage business.Originally posted on Himalayas
